Methodology
Sports vinyl flooring, typically PVC sheets or rolls for indoor courts like badminton or basketball, installs via fixed (full glue-down) or movable methods over a level concrete subfloor, ensuring shock absorption and seamless joints through heat welding.
Subfloor Preparation: Verify concrete flatness (≤2mm over 2m straightedge), strength (≥C20), and moisture (≤8%), cleaning thoroughly and applying primer if needed. Mark reference lines with laser for squareness (≤1mm/m error) and acclimate rolls 24+ hours at 15-25°C.
Layout and Cutting: Unroll sheets parallel to long axis, leaving 5-10mm overlaps at seams and 8-10mm wall gaps; cut precisely with utility knife for straight/curved edges, avoiding strips <100mm wide.
Adhesive and Placement: Apply water-based adhesive (200-300g/m²) in sections with notched trowel, roll sheets from center outward using 50-100kg roller to eliminate bubbles, and double-cut seams for tight joints.
Welding and Finishing: Cure 24-48 hours, then heat-weld seams (380-450°C gun, 3-4mm rod) at 1.5-2m/min, scrape excess, and trim edges with aluminum strips sealed by silicone. Test ball rebound (≥90%) and flatness post-install
